Nancy Fern (Kress) Schoebel, 76, of Hustisford, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021, in the comfort of her home with her loving family by her side.
Nancy was born January 8, 1945, in Hartford, to Fern B. (Werner) and George J. Kress.
She was united in marriage to John “Jack” T. Schoebel on May 14, 1966, at St. Kilian Catholic Church in Hartford.
Nancy enjoyed reading, puzzles, girl’s outings and trips with her daughters and granddaughter, card luncheons and gambling with friends, and most of all time spent with her family.
Nancy is survived by her loving children, Kim (Craig) Hahn of Germantown, Kelly Schoebel of Theresa, and Kerri (Philip)Frey of Johnson Creek, and extended family Kris Watry of Horicon; cherished grandchildren, Stephen, Collin, Lauren Hahn, and Josie Frey; siblings, Karen Madell of Hartford, Kaye (Harold) Schladweiler of Kewaskum; and sisters-in-law, Patricia Hoerth of Hartford, Mary (Bob) Aufdermauer of Allenton, and Sue Kress of Tomahawk. She is further survived by loved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Jack; loving son, Kurt R. Schoebel; parents; parents-in-law, Marie (Beine) and Ralph Schoebel; brother, George Kress; and brothers-in-law, Eugene Hoerth, Richard Madell, and David Ziegelbauer.
Family will greeted relatives and friends on Sunday, Jan. 17, from 2 to 3:45 p.m. at the Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union Street Hartford, WI 53027). Funeral Services for Nancy followed at 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, the Wisconsin Humane Society, or to a charity of your choice in Nancy’s name are sincerely appreciated.
