Marie E. Thull


Marie passed peacefully surrounded by her family on February 8, 2023, at the age of 77 in Zephyrhills, Florida, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s.Marie was born in West Bend. She attended Holy Angels School and later attended West Bend High School. Out of high school, she worked at Amity and then Enger Kress, eventually retiring from there.Marie was the daughter to Elizabeth and Sylvester Jacak. She later married Richard Thull in 1964 and had five children.Marie loved her children and grandchildren and can’t forget her love of dogs. Marie never missed the opportunity to watch her grandchildren play their sports.Survivors include her husband, Richard, of 58 years; children, Tracy (Bill) Zeeb, Todd (Angie) Thull, Tricia (Duayne) Vancha, Terri (Jeff) Miller and Travis (Joy) Thull; 13 grandchildren, Jamie (Chris) Jamieson, Sarah Zeeb (special farmer, Julian Popp), Tyler Zeeb, Bryce Thull, Crystal (Joey) Bond, Justin (Holly) Vancha, Amanda (Stefan) Maldonado, Jordan (Kendra) Vancha, Michael (Becca) Vancha, Colten and Jaidan Miller, Madelyn and Carson Thull; 17 great-grandchildren, Franklin and Henry Jamieson, Lucas, Landon and Lexi Zeeb, Madisyn and Carter Bond, Owen, Braelyn, and Bennett Vancha, Aidan and Nolan Lara, Olivia Maldonado, Bryson and Kinley Vancha, Malachi and Sophia Vancha; sisters, Pat (Tom) Hron, Doris (Tom) Hebert and Diane (Steve) Liegl; and nieces and nephews.She was proceeded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and Sylvester Jacak; infant sister, Kathryn; in-laws, Joseph and Helen Thull; beloved pets, Tiny, Pepper and Midnight.Celebration of life will be in Wisconsin at a later date.

Ronald Joseph Johann, 83, of Kewaskum, was called home to the Lord on February 11, 2023. Ronnie was born on April 5, 1939, in Jackson to the late Marvin and Agnes (nee Uelmen) Johann. Ronnie was united in marriage to Karen Jean Oelhafen on August 29, 1970. He loved the Brewers, Packers, and being with his grandchildren. Ronnie enjoyed going up north, fishing, traveling, golfing, bowling, and playing cards. Ronnie graduated from Kewaskum High School, Class of 1958. He was a proud partner in the family-owned business Johann Plumbing & Heating. In his retirement, Ronnie was a 10+ year member of the Village of Kewaskum Plan Commission.Those left to cherish Ronnie’s memory include his wife, Karen Jean Johann; three children, Michael (Donna) Johann, Lynn Johann, and Steve (Katie) Johann; four grandchildren, Lauren, Dominic, Christian, and Kaydence; five siblings, Richie Johann, Claude (Kerri) Johann, Jane Johann, Mary (David) Neckuty, and Jennifer (Jeff) Funk; brother-in-law, Russell (Janice) Oelhafen; sister-in-law, Betty Oelhafen; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.In addition to his parents, Ronnie is preceded in death by five siblings, Roger Johann, Robert Johann, Billy Johann, Diane Schmidt, and Barbara Hill.Visitation: Ronnie’s family will greet relatives and friends on February 16, 2023, at 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 305 Main Street, Kewaskum, WI.Mass Of Christian Burial: A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m., after visitation. Father Jacob Strand will officiate, and burial will take place following at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in Kewaskum.The family requests that memorial donations be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Frieda C. Carlson, age 78, of Fredonia, passed away peacefully with her family at her side at home Sunday, January 29, 2023. She was born on May 31, 1944, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania; daughter of John and Pauline Sechrengost Marsinko. After growing up in Johnstown, Frieda made her way to Wisconsin in 1975, soon after meeting her future husband, Richard Carlson of Milwaukee. They married on May 18, 1982, in Cedarburg. From 1989, they would call Fredonia home.She enjoyed working in sales and was always a people person. While living in Cedarburg, Frieda operated the former Fritzy’s Country Saloon there until 1986. Shortly thereafter, Frieda would open and operate the former Whatnot Shop on Franklin Street in Port Washington for a few years. She really loved those years.Considered a friend to many, Frieda was always a very social person. She had been an active volunteer with her husband for over 30 years at the Ozaukee County Fair in Cedarburg. A kind and nurturing animal lover, Frieda had volunteered at the Ozaukee Humane Society in Grafton and Saukville over 20 years. She was also an avid supporter of animal rescue. She also loved time spent with family and friends in the Kettle Moraine; participating with the Crooked Lake Sports Club for many years.Frieda is survived by her husband, Richard; her children, Aaron Carlson of Fillmore, Matthew (Sharmayne) Carlson of Fredonia, Jeffrey Carlson of Oshkosh, and Melissa (Calvin) Timm of Appleton. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Stacy Carlson, Michael Carlson, Amber (Ed) Kidd, Zach Carlson, and Casey Carlson; great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Lyric, Lilliana, and twins Aaron and Edward; her sister, Ruth Halapia of Johnstown, PA; nieces, nephews, other relatives and her many friends.Frieda is preceded in death by her sons, Billy and John Carlson; her grandson, Tyler Carlson; and three brothers.All were invited to gather to remember Frieda from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at the Poole Funeral Home, 203 N. Evelyn “Evie” H. Beisbier (nee Weis), 88, of West Bend, formerly of Kewaskum, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Cedar Bay East in West Bend. She was born on a farm at home in Elmore on February 21, 1934, to the late Gregor and Margaret (nee Thill) Weis. Evie graduated from Campbellsport High School in 1953. On October 15, 1955, she was united in marriage to Cornelius “Corney” Beisbier at St. Matthews Catholic Church. She was a stay-at-home mom for 13 years, raising their five daughters. After which she began working at Regal Ware in Kewaskum for the next 27 years, be - longing to the 25-year club. Evie enjoyed traveling to many places, especially her trip with Corney to Israel, tending to her flowers, cooking, and baking. She embroidered many dish towels for family and friends. Evie and Corney were also big Green Bay Packers fans. She was an active member of Bible Baptist Church in West Bend since June of 1990. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and all of her grandchildren, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.Those Evie leaves behind to cherish her memory include her three children, Mary (Roger) Doll, Patri - cia “Patti (Ed) Buehler, and Ellen (Marcio) Ferreira; 10 grandchildren, Jared (Jamie) Doll, Bruce (Cassidy) Doll, Craig Doll, Jill (Brad) Worden, Stacy (Jeff) Jager, Hannah (Donald) Lee-Brown, Alex (Danielle) Buehler, Diego Ferreira, Rodrigo Ferreira, and Bruno Ferreira; 10 great-grandchildren; eight siblings, Norbert (Ruth) Weis, Eugene (Martha) Weis, Doris (Willard) Rusch, Lester (Elaine) Weis, Caroline Theusch, Alvin (Gloria) Weis, Florence (Tom) Flood, and Richard “Dick” (Kelly) Weis; two sons-in-law, David (fiancée, Geri Fromm) Nothem and Scott Bultman; four brothers-in-law, Jerry (Linda) Beisbier, Greg (Julie) Richmond, Ken Beisbier, and Steve (Joyce) Beisbier; seven sisters-in-law, Louise Bonlender, Lila Kleinhans, Paula (Allen) Schoofs, Helen Beisbier, Mae Beisbier, Mary (Dan) Schrauth, and Bev, (Leo) Emmer; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius “Corney” Beisbier; two daughters, Carol Nothem and Laura Bultman; five brothers-in-law, Frank Theusch, Joe Bonlender, Woody Kleinhans, Alois Beisbier, and Robert Beisbier, three sisters-in-law, Sandy Beisbier, Susie Beisbier, and Kay Beisbier; nephew, Greg Weis; and a niece, Rochelle Richmond.A Celebration of Life service in remembrance of Evie will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 12 p.m. at Bible Baptist Church, 3500 Beaver Dam Rd., West Bend.The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Cedar Bay East for all their help and care.The Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home of West Bend has been entrusted with Evie’s arrangements.
