Marion Elvira (Coulter) Schuster of Hartford, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021, after a battle with cancer.   Marion was born on a farm in the town of Wayne to the late David and Alice (Wilke) Coulter on September 25, 1933.   She went to Mullen grade school and graduated from Kewaskum High School in 1951. After graduation, Marion was employed by Bill and Frances Krueger at the Empire Hotel in Theresa.   On September 16, 1954, Marion was united in marriage to Kenneth Paul Schuster at Salem United Church of Christ in Wayne.   On November 1, 1954 they lived in and moved a house trailer to Ft. Pierce, FL, spending the winter there. In the Spring of 1955, Ken and Marion moved back to Theresa. They moved several times and eventually moved to Mayville, where their five children grew up and went to school.    From 1966 to 1974, Marion was employed at Maysteel Corp. as a machinist in the punch press dept. From 1974 until Ken passed away in 1993, Marion did the book work for “Ken Schuster Construction” in Mayville.   Marion moved to Fond du Lac in 1994. In 2001 she moved to Laguna Woods, CA, in a condo her son Patrick purchased for her. She lived close to him and his family and was able to watch her three grandchildren grow up there. She made wonderful friends, Bev, Sally, Becky, and Anne and spent many fun game nights. She also made many friends in the area, and especially enjoyed her friendship with Dan and Gaye Ramella. She really enjoyed her daily phone conversations with her cousin Marlene in California, and kept in touch with family and friends by creating beautiful holiday/birthday cards on her computer and printer. She moved to Hartford in 2011, after her son Patrick, passed away in 2010 and lived in a senior living apartment.    Marion leaves behind four children, Terence (Arlete) Schuster of Marietta, GA, Douglas (Laurie) Schuster of Fond du Lac, Scott Schuster of Mayville, Debbie Schuster of Lake Forest, CA, and Denise (Andrew) Roskopf of Hartford and special friend Cheryl; other survivors include grandchildren, Jessica (Ben) Logsdon, Logan (Chelsie) Schuster, Brittany (Tyler) Tomjanovich, Sarah (Jake Buchner) Schuster, Angela (Dan) Piel, Meghan (Jesse) Menges, Patrick II (Jodie) Schuster, Daniel (Lindsay) Schuster, Brian Schuster, Dylan (Shannon Eeg), Brendy (Jose Hernandez) Schuster, Ashley (Vincent) Vega, Brenton (Maggie) Roskopf and Matthew (Mallory Dejno) Roskopf; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Patrick III, Jack, Wyatt, Xzavier, Isaak, Cooper, Miles, Max, Viera, Hailey, Mason, Lennon, Boden, Theo, Silas, Arthur, Rachel Hernandez and Sharlet. One great great grandchild, Alexis Dallmann; also special friends from Australia “scrabble bubbies” Debbie and Heather.   In addition to her husband, parents, and stepfather, Jerome Schiller, Marion was preceded in death by a son, Patrick Allen Schuster and her only sibling, David L. Coulter of Kewaskum, and her great-granddaughter Ellie’s husband, Brad Dallmann.   A small family graveside service was held at Union Cemetery in Theresa on Friday, April 9, 2021.  Ronald A. “Roko” Koepsell, 77, of Mayville, died on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.   Ronald was born on May 30, 1943, the son of Andrew and Viola (Detlaff) Koepsell.   He attended Mayville High School, then joined the United States Army in 1964. Roko served in Korea and was discharged in 1966.   He worked for Purity Products, part-time for Crist Aluminum and also worked for Pioneer Pole and Truss’s Plus. Roko also had his own part-time business, Roko Sales. He later retired from Metalcraft of Mayville.   Ronald enjoyed going and selling at flea markets as well as taking trips to the Amish country and listening to 60’s and Polka music. Roko loved to watch his grandchildren play baseball and other sports.   Ronald was a member of the American Legion Post 69 of Mayville and a member of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church.   Ronald is survived by his children, Scott Koepsell, Melissa (DuWayne) Steger, Dawn Koepsell, and Jeremy Koepsell (Gail Tradewell); five grandchildren, Brett Steger, Hunter Steger, Cammie Steger, Kaitlin Koepsell, and Colin Koepsell; a sister, Darlene Koepsell; other relatives and friends.   He was preceded in death by his parents.   The visitation was held at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville on Tuesday, March 30, from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m.   The funeral service followed at the church on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Joshua Frazee officiating. Burial was in Hochheim Cemetery in the Town of Herman, Dodge County, Wisconsin, with military honors provided by the Mayville American Legion Post #69.   Memorials may be made in Ronald A.    David Nehls passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the age of 83 years. He was born on November 25, 1937 in Hustisford, the son of Norman and Nina (Holtz) Nehls. He was united in marriage to Ruth Reichow on May 16, 1959 at St, Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Neosho.    David served his country in the U.S. Navy and farmed for more than 40 years in the Hustisford area.   His was a life of service. He served the Town of Hustisford for a total of 22 years, as a Supervisor and later as the Town Chairman. He was involved in the naming of the Hustisford Community Library, and was a member of the Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church School Board. David served on the River Valley Coop Board in Watertown for 15 years, and also served on the AMPI Board, and the Equity Livestock Board. He was a former member of the Hustisford Rod and Gun Club and the Hustisford Bowling League.   David and Ruth enjoyed polka dances with friends three times per week for years. He loved playing sheepshead with family and friends. David was a consistent spectator at the children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events, even if it meant milking the cows at 3 a.m. David and Ruth spent many happy years camping after retiring and made many friends along the way.    David is survived by his wife, Ruth, of 61 years; his sons, Jeffrey (Carolyn) Nehls of Iron Ridge, Dale Nehls of Fond du Lac; his daughter, Renee Nehls of Waukesha; nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his sister, Claudia Krohn of Arizona; and by his brothers, Charles (Carol) Nehls of Watertown and Stanley Nehls of Hustisford. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.   Visitation was held Wednesday, March 31, from 4 to 7 p.m., and Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m. at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, 269 N. Lake Street, Hustisford.    Funeral service followed at Church on Thursday at 11 a.m.. Rev. Jonathan Loescher is officiating. Interment was in Hustisford Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, memorials to Bethany’s sound system would be appreciated.  Elisabeth Ellen “Beth” Brugger, 78, of Hustisford, passed away on March 9, 2021.   Beth was born to Laurie and Ruth (Jacobson) Peterson in Iola, on August 7, 1942.   She grew up in Wittenberg, until high school when her father’s career required the family to move to other areas around the state.   She graduated from Lake Mills High School. She attended UW-Madison and graduated with a degree in education from UW-Whitewater.   The majority of her more than 30-year career was dedicated to teaching kindergarten at Rossman Elementary School in Hartford. Beth was a beloved mother, Granny, and friend to many. She was kind and compassionate and cared deeply about others. She was passionate about her family, and her greatest joy was spending time with and doing things for them. She had an immense love for children (especially her dear grandchildren) and she especially appreciated their innocence, their sense of spontaneity, and their hugs. She loved cats and her family always had a cat from the time she was young. Beth had a terrific sense of humor and was full of fun. She loved to play games. She was an expert at Jeopardy! and other game shows, beating anyone who dared to play with her. Although she loved spending time with others playing games, sharing a meal, or just visiting, she also cherished her alone time to read and always looked forward to her next good book. She was very involved with the Hustisford Community Library, volunteering her time and talent, serving on the library board, and helping with fundraising. A highlight of her year was the annual spelling bee fundraiser at the library and she enjoyed the camaraderie of the event.   Beth was also passionate about cooking and one of her greatest joys was preparing a meal for her family or friends.   Beth is survived by her children, Anthony (Vickie) Brugger of Clyman, Jennifer Brugger of Port Orchard, WA, and Caleb (Rebecca) Brugger of Hustisford. She was Granny to her precious grandchildren, Morgan, Anthony “TJ”, Madison, Caden, and Garrett. She is further survived by AFS daughter, Deise Prina Dutra (Alfredo Mateus) and “bonus granddaughter” Alice Dutra Mateus. Beth is also survived by sisters, Mary (John) Krueger, of Aurora, CO, and Faith Mauk (Tom Lonsway) of Kaukauna; sister-in-law, Joan Peterson of Madison; her former husband and dear friend, David Brugger, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She especially cherished her lifelong friends from her teaching days and was still in contact with many of them.   Beth was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, David Peterson, and her nephew, Daniel Peterson.   At Beth’s request, there will be no services.   Memorials may be made to the Hustisford Community Library, 609 W. Joseph Schnitzler, 89, of Theresa passed away peacefully at St Francis Terrace on Monday, March 8, 2021. He had been a resident at St Francis Terrace assisted living in Fond du Lac for the past year and a half. He was born on April 4, 1931, on the Schnitzler family farm in the Town of Theresa to Edwin and Angela (Schmidt) Schnitzler. Joseph attended school at St. Theresa's school and graduated from Good Road School in 1945. On September 30, 1961, he was united in marriage to Henrietta Peters at Holy Angels Catholic Church in West Bend. Joseph and Henrietta met at a dance and enjoyed dancing for many years. Joseph was employed at Purity Cheese Company in Mayville for thirty years and then was a self-employed house painter until 2010 when he “retired”. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life such as spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren, vegetable gardening, caring for flowers and wine making. It was always a pleasure to see all of his flowers and eat of his garden produce throughout the growing season. Joseph was an active lifetime member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Theresa. Over the years, he served in various ways including being a member of the Knights of Columbus, cemetery board member, caring for the flowers and shrubs on the church grounds, painting, ushering and taking communion to homebound parishioners just to name a few. Joseph is survived by two loving children, Leo (Candi) Schnitzler of Menomonee Falls and Gerene Schnitzler of Theresa,; two grandsons, Avery and Levi; two sisters-in-law, Lillian Ritger of West Bend and Rita Peters of West Bend; many nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Henrietta; three brothers, Andrew (Jean and Marion) Schnitzler, Henry (Shirley) Schnitzler and Martin (Annie) Schnitzler; nine brothers-in-law and five sisters-in-law. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 12, at 3 p.m. at St Theresa’s Catholic Church, 102 Church St, Theresa with the Rev. Father Thomas Biersack presiding. The family will greet relatives and friends at a visitation, which will be held from 1:30 p.m. until the 3 p.m. service. Burial will follow at St. Theresa Cemetery in Theresa. Masks and social distancing will be required. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at St Francis Terrace and Agnesian Hospice Hope for their compassionate care of Joseph. The Lord in his infinite and gracious wisdom called from this life to the glories of heaven the soul of Delmer Frank Kannenberg on February 26, 2021, at the age of 83 years, 11 months and 27 days. Pastor Delmer Frank Kannenberg was born on February 27, 1937, in town Jackson, of Herman John Kannenberg and,his wife, Linda nee Matter. He was baptized on March 14, 1937, by Pastor Martin F. Riesche at David's Star Ev. Lutheran Church where he was also confirmed on March 18, 1951 by Pastor Paul J. Gieschen. His confirmation verse was Psalm 27 verse 4, "One thing have I desired of the Lord, that I will seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to enquire in his temple." Pastor Kannenberg married Barbara Ann Zarling of Milwaukee on June 21, 1958. Barbara is a graduate of West Bend High School and the Milwaukee Business Institute. She worked at Mercury Marine in Cedarburg, West Bend Mutual Insurance Co in West Bend and Mayer Insurance in Jackson in addition to other part-time jobs and her household and family responsibilities. Delmer attended Wisconsin Lutheran High School in Milwaukee for three years and then transferred to Northwestern Preparatory School, in Watertown, from which he graduated in 1956. After graduating from high school, he studied basic electricity at Milwaukee Area Technical College, television repairing at Milwaukee School of Television and computer programming at UW-Oshkosh. After working at the Herbst Shoe Manufacturing Company he worked for the Mercury Marine Division of the Brunswick Corporation. He discontinued his employment as inventory control manager at Mercury Marine in 1968 to enroll in ministerial training classes at Bethany Lutheran College, Mankato, MN. In 1971, he enrolled at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, from which he graduated in 1975. Delmer served as vicar at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, Milwaukee, WI during his last two seminary years. Upon graduating from the seminary, Delmer was assigned to the dual parishes of Trinity and Zum Kripplein Christi congregations in the Town of Herman, Dodge County, serving them for nine years. In 1984, he received a Call to serve Zion congregation, Denver, CO where he served until 1997 when he accepted the call extended to him by the Wisconsin Ev. Lutheran Synod to serve as missionary in Cameroon, Africa. From 1997 to 2001, he served in the WELS mission field of Cameroon after which he continued to serve as liaison until 2004. Cross of Christ congregation, Liverpool, NY extended a one­ year Call which he accepted and served from April 2001 to April of 2002. After the one-year call was completed he continued to serve this congregation on a part-time basis until the end of November in 2002. Upon retirement at age 65, Delmer continued to accept invitations for preaching and mission presentations on the work in Cameroon. He also did part-time work for his son-in-law Bill Moldenhauer and Bill's brother, Richard, on their dairy farm in Town Herman, Hartford. The Lord blessed their marriage with four daughters, Sharon Moldenhauer (her husband William) of Hartford, Lori Dorn (her husband Greg) of Madison, Diane Calkins (her husband John) of Fond du Lac, and Linda Pedersen also of Fond du Lac. Delmer is survived by his ten grandchildren, Jeffrey (Koa), Lisa (John) LeBlanc, Kristine, and Daniel (Charisse) Moldenhauer, Joshua (Danielle), Aaron (Aimee), and Jordan Calkins, Elizabeth Puffer, Erika Lyun and JonAlden Pedersen; nine great grandchildren, Benjamin, Sara, Abigail, Marah, Ezekiel, Thaddeus, Maison, Aria, and Archer; his sister-in-law, Janet Kannenberg, brother-in-law, William Gauger, further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Pastor Kannenberg was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Linda Kannenberg; sisters, Lillian and Marlene; a son-in-law, Richard Pedersen; brother, Wilmer; brothers-in-law, Gerald Zarling and Ladislaus Matchey; and a sisters-in­ law, Aurelia Zarling and Audrey Matchey. A funeral service for Pastor Kannenberg will be held on Saturday, March 20, at 12 p.m. at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Hartford (Huilsburg) with the Rev. Jeffrey Drake officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:30 until the time of the service 12 p.m. at the church. Burial will take place at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to WELS Missions. David G. Feucht, 80, of Eagar, AZ, formerly of Mayville, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2021, at home. His wife Christine was with him. David was born in Fond du Lac, to Alexander and Veronica (Pionkoske) Feucht on November 20, 1940. He graduated from Mayville High School in 1959. He earned Green Beret status in the U.S. Army during the 1960s. He received a bachelor’s degree from Oshkosh State University and a graduate degree from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. He worked in several jobs over the years. These included work as a mechanic, teamster, teacher, lumber company worker and finally with the United States Forest Service. Dave was a kind, generous, smart and private man who thought of others before himself. Dave married Christine Hussli in 1969. They spent most of their married life together in Idaho and Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Chris; siblings, Alex (Kuan) Feucht of Henderson, NV, Jean (Art) Schwarze of Lexington, NE and Geri (Tim Bachhuber) Feucht of Mayville; brother-in-law, Dennis (Janet) Hussli of Mayville; many nieces, nephews and cousins and his aunt, Izzy Guse of Lomira. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Vernie and his brother, Bill Feucht, all of Mayville. He was also preceded by his parents-in-law, Andy and Anne (Schnaderbeck) Hussli of Mayville and sister- and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Bob Brandl of Ripon. No funeral or memorial services are scheduled.
