Sandra L. Rahn
Sandra L. Rahn, 76, of Eden passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at her home with her beloved family gathered around her.
She was born in Oshkosh on September 25, 1946, the daughter of Eldore and Joyce (Buck) Begalke. Sandy grew up and did all her schooling in Two Rivers. On August 7th, 1971, Sandy was united in marriage to David Rahn in Eden.
Sandy worked at Gourmet Delight Mushrooms, Serigraph and cooked at the Majerus Game Farm. Sandy loved flowers and surrounded her castle with them. Most important to her was the time spent with her family; she will be missed.
Those left behind include her husband, Dave; children, Mark (Cheryl) Rahn of Eden, Diane Rahn (Todd Merrill) of Menasha, Jeff Rahn (Judy Walters) of Eden and Brian Rahn of Eden; brother, Barry Begalke of Fond du Lac; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Sandy was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerome Kumbalek; parents, Eldore and Joyce; sister-in- law, Brenda Begalke; niece, Bonnie Begalke; in-laws, Field and Florence Rahn; and brothers-in-law, Bob Rahn and Bill Rahn.
Visitation was held Sunday, January 22, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St., Campbellsport. Private family committal services were held Monday, January 23, at Ledgeview Memorial Park in Fond du Lac.
The family extends a special thank you to the staff of SSM Health at Home Hospice, and to Steve and Char Rose for their loving care of Sandy.
