Lee Dennis Edeler, age 82, of Beechwood, WI, passed away following a long illness on Wednesday morning (April 27, 2022) at his home. He was born in Milwau kee on June 14, 1939, a son of the late Lester Edeler and Dorothy Schaefer (nee Klein). He attended several ele mentary schools in Milwaukee and Waucousta, and graduated from Campbellsport High School in 1958.

He was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Dundee. On February 2, 1963, he married Marie Staege of Batavia at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Batavia.

He served as an usher and Trustee for many years at St. Stephen’s Church.

Lee was a life member of the Beechwood Sportsman’s Club and honorary member of the Beechwood Fire Department.

He owned and operated Lee’s Refrigeration Sales and Service from 1962 until his retirement in 2003.

Lee enjoyed hunting and fishing, camping, fixing things, snowmobiling and trapshooting.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Marie of Beechwood; two sons, Terry (Kimberley) Edeler of Hortonville and Timothy (Wendy) Edeler of Random Lake; four grandchildren, Nathan Edeler of Green Bay, Nick Edeler of Kimberly, Chelsey Edeler of Random Lake, and Dylan (Lila) Edeler of Lakewood, WA; one great-granddaughter, Katalina Edeler of Random Lake; one sister, Jo Schaefer of Sarasota, FL, and one sister-in-law, Eleanore Wilson of Plymouth; and by other relatives and friends.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents, his parents-in-law, and one brother-in-law, Fred Wilson.

Private Funeral Services will be held. Burial will be at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Cemetery in Batavia.

Memorials would be appreciated for St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church or the Beechwood Fire Department.
