   Allen J. Bau­man, 89, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Wednes­day, Oc­t. 20, 2021, at the Hos­pice Home of Hope.
Allen was born on April 8, 1932, in Dundee, a son of the late William and Her­mina Bau­man (nee Plautz).
   On Jan­u­ary 28, 1956, he mar­ried Lor­raine Wend­landt at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
Allen worked as a farm­hand for var­i­ous farmers, was a cab dri­ver in Fond du Lac, and even­tu­ally began Bau­man Dairy which faithfully served the Campbellsport and surrounding vicinities for 38 years, making many friends along the way. He also worked at Tom’s Mill­work and Bau­man’s Apart­ment LLC.
   Faith was very im­por­tant to Allen. He was a mem­ber of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and was a long­time mem­ber of Im­manuel Lutheran Church in Camp­bell­sport. Allen was on the St. John’s Ceme­tery Board and the Win­nebago Lutheran Acad­emy Board.
   He en­joyed fish­ing, wood­work­ing, and col­lect­ing beer cans and milk cases.
Those left be­hind to cher­ish his mem­ory in­clude his wife, Lor­raine; chil­dren, Wayne Bau­man, Wendy (Tom) Treleven, John (Michele) Bau­man, and Joanne (Duane) Giese; grand­chil­dren, Sara Treleven, Ryan (Leah) Treleven, Molly Treleven, David Ziegel, Jus­tine Ziegel, Derek Giese, Alyssa Giese, Rachel Bau­man, and Blair Bau­man; and nu­mer­ous great-grand­chil­dren. He is fur­ther sur­vived by nieces, nephews, other rel­a­tives and friends.
In ad­di­tion to his par­ents, he was pre­ceded in death by his grandson, Eli Allen Bauman; sis­ters, Helen Bef­fel Torti and Es­ther Fiebig (who raised him); and broth­ers, Arthur, William, Roland and Gilbert.
Fu­neral ser­vice was held on Sat­ur­day, Oc­t. 23, 2021, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, W2090 High­way 23, Mount Cal­vary, WI 53057. Rev. Mark Barenz of­fi­ci­ated and bur­ial fol­lowed at St. John’s Lutheran Ceme­tery. Vis­i­ta­tion was at the church on Sat­ur­day from 9 a.m. until the time of the ser­vice.
In lieu of flow­ers, memo­ri­als are ap­pre­ci­ated to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and the Win­nebago Lutheran Acad­emy.
