Russell T. “Tom” Williams, 94, of the town of Scott, passed away at his home on Saturday, October 26, 2019.
Tom was born on January 8, 1925, in Lancaster, Wisconsin, the son of the late Arthur and Ethel (nee McCartney) Williams. On August 15, 1946, he was united in marriage to Donna Barr in Burton, Wisconsin. He enjoyed fishing, camping, bus tours, and especially snowmobiling. Tom owned and operated Tom’s Small Engine Sales and Service in Barton for 20+ years retiring in 1987. They moved to a hobby farm near Kewaskum. He was a lifelong member of the Moose Lodge in West Bend. Tom continued to enjoy working at his own pace on many things, always welcoming lively conversation. Tom always said, “With a good hammer and a screwdriver you can fix most anything”.
Those Tom leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Donna; a daughter, Bonnie; a son, Thom; a grandson, Dan; other relatives and friends. Pa (Tom) and Dan were good buddies.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerry, Dick, and Jim; and three sisters, Ruby, June, and RaeAnn.
Tom’s family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Myrhum Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington Street, in West Bend from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m., after which a short service of memories of Tom’s life will be shared. Private burial will be later at Newark Cemetery
