DAYS GONE BY 5 Years Ago June 19, 2014 The Washington County Sheriff’s Department has arrested a 30year-old Kewaskum man after a drunk driving hit and run crash Sunday. The Sheriff’s Office was alerted to the situation after the man rear-ended an eastbound car that was turning from County Highway H to Sandy Ridge Road. Three Town of Barton residents, a 21-year-old male, 16-year-old female and an 18-year-old female occupied the eastbound car. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the 30-year-old then fled the scene and ended up stashing his pick-up truck in a barn at a friend’s house on the 8000 block of Kettle Moraine Road. A witness followed the suspect to the address and the suspect was arrested.
