Loretta C. Gergen

Loretta C. Gergen, 93, of the Town of Osceola went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. She was born on June 6, 1929, in Beaver Dam, the daughter William G. and Katherine (Kumba) Gergen. Loretta worked in sales most of her life and, along with her sister, Mary, ran the MerriLore Market in Armstrong for many years. She was very involved with Camp Vista and Shepherd of the Hills Parish. Loretta loved music, her flowers and her dog.

Survivors include her sister, Mary Gergen; brothers, Paul (Barbara) Gergen and David (Judy) Gergen; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, William and Katherine; and siblings, Scott, Jim, and Sr. Dolores O.S.F.

Visitation was held on Monday, August 8, from 10 a.m. until time of Mass at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 County Road B, Eden.

Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, August 8, at 11 a.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church. Rev. Mark Jones officiated and burial was private at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Beaver Dam.

The family extends a special thank you to the staff of St. Agnes Hospital 5th Floor South and Andrew and Anna Fidziukiewicz.
